Mamma mia...

Last night i got my arse dragged to watch mamma mia. Apart from meeting a long lost friend i lost like 10 bux buying drinks. The tickets were worth Rm 400 each, such a waste of good money. $400 bux is like buying 50 pirated dvd's. Gosh.. Eh no i dont support piracy, no i dont..ahem.

Anyhoo apart from the heavy british accents destroying the abba songs, i guess it was ok. Mind you i slept thru the first half of it. Ok la i just dozed off, the seats were like edge and 4 rows from the stage. The sound system kinda killed the play too, the bass was so loud it felt like mambo jumbo at zouk cept no drinks and shitty seats.

Dinner after the theatre was great. We ate somewhere behind Ampwalk, its a Morrocan restaurant called Al-Maghreb or some sort like that. We had the lamb rice thing, fresh bread, humus, some salad with lotsa feta cheese. Tasted great but smelt funny. On top of that the 8 dollar fresh pure fruit puree and the non alcholic beer called "Barbaric if im not mistaken.. Okla it costs us around 90 bux to feed four.

Overall ok night, cept i would have rather had a ramly burger and wathced IP Man with my friends. Oh wait i didnt mention the multitude of the serviing size of that lamb rice thingy. Its like 3 cups of rice and 1 kilo of lamb.

On another note, i am really wondering where were at right now ??
If its just a Fling let me know,

Ever wonder why,

and we dont listen ?
I guess learning the hard way is just nature's course of life.

and blind as i am i didnt see it.

Hectic Weekend part 2......

Saturday 20th Dec, according to my dad we were supposed to get up ay 6.30am and leave the house for Singapore at 7.00am. Hah as usual by the time we all got up it was like 8.00am, by the time we left the house 9.00am. By the time we hit the second link it was about 11.30am. Got into singapore and looked for the hotel. Somewhere on scotts road laid Sheraton towers, a blasting 209 SGD a night it definitely wasnt worth it. i would have rather stayed at The GoodWood Park Hotel or at Raffles... Well we were paying that much money per night right ?

As soon as we checked in, Cheryl and I parted from the hotel to meet our friends and to do our own things. Took the mrt from newton to Geylang, Went back there to look for the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base. I was attached to them some years back. Missionary school, heh me in a missionary school ok la thats a long time ago, and dont ask. Its been such a long time since i got back there, i couldnt even remember which MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station i usually got off at to walk to base. So i decided oklah ill get off at lavendar and walk abit, cos if i were to get off at ALjunied i would have died walking so i thought.

Ahh as soon as i hit lorong 1 it brought me back to the days where we had to roam the streets of geylang as messengers of God.. haha ok we still smoked swore and lots of other nonsense. Brought back memories of my old DTS (Discupleship Training School) mates. It was fun back then. I noticed the streets were pretty empty, and i thought to myself see the Singaporean police so effective, weeded out all the PRC street walkers. And i thought too soon, as i was trying to find my Soy bean and "oil fried ghost" shop, i was molested, harrased and groped by the prc's loitering around the 5 foot ways as the sun was really hot out. Started with "Bu Yao, bu yao... and then mei you chien" haha it really didnt work much. This time around the girls got younger and prettier. I must say what a waste of their lives, so pretty go la work for roadshows ke carshows ke, abit more dignity lah.

After the drama at geylang, i was off the the Golden Mile food court where the military market was. I remembered i had to take bus 100 to get there. Haha but i totally lost my bearings and i got on bus 100 from sims ave. (wrong direction). Fortunately i decided to ask the bus driver to tell me when to get off to get to Golden Mile. He was like "haha... you're on the wrong side of the road". DAng, so i got my ezlink card refunded and i started walking. Time was scarce so i decided to walk while waiting for the bus cos 100 normally takes a long time to come. So i walked and walked and walked and finally when i saw bus 100, wihtout taking a look at the surroundings i chased the bus down for my life. When it came to a halt, i ran up to the door and then i saw Golden Mile through the glass window of the bus. I was like, no shit i walked that far already ?

So yea walked in the military market which is located across the road from Golden Mile Complex on the 2nd floor of the Block 505 Beach Road Golden Mile Food Court. Bought the stuff i needed, waited for the tags and left. While walking out i noticed they had a large array of Deuter bags, the current one im using has served me for a good 10 years already loh. Then this uncle said, ah boy today is your lucky day, you will be enjoying the first day of my christmas sale. 150 SGD for either of these two bags the Quantum and the Air Contact both of them are 55 + 10. Wah what a steal, but i wasnt carrying enough cash, so i thought aiya forget it lo.

After, that headed to Sim Lim Square located right behind Bugis village, The best place in town to buy any electronics. Haha i finally got my Jabra BT 3030 a bluetooth this with stereo capabilities. Eh looks so nice.. hehe. Backin KL when i sourced for it, the price i found was close to RM400. At Sim Lim i paid only 90 SGD, which would come up to about RM220. Ok maybe i got fleaced but i was willing to pay that sum lah.

Ok lah i lazy to blog d, that day ended with supper at newton circus foodcourt.

Hectic weekend...

Ok technically Last weekend started on thursday, Heh went clubbin with the gang at MOS. Dont know why the hell we keep going back there when the bottle prices are crazy. Well i spent a near 250 bux for half 1/3 bottle of chivas. Thank God it wasn't the horrible tasting Skyy Vodka.. 368 for stupid vodka and 420 for chivas, okla id rather tong 60 bux more for the chivas.

The music kinda sucked, so frequent trips to the DSA (Designated Smoking Area) was a must. The stupid DSA was so small, when packed really its like a gas chamber where we were sent to kill each other. So i decided to go for a smoke outside, on the way out some chick fed me a candy which pretty much screwed up the rest of the night..

As usual if i planned to get wasted ill get a room, Sunway hotel rooms okla quite nnice looking. They are 10 times better than the pyramid tower rooms for damn sure lah. Oh well on Friday, wah lau got up at 7, went to pick someone up to come back clear her stuff. Oh wells got back to the room, went to bed, got up had sushi king for lunch, back to her place and crashed on the couch again til about 3 then went shopping.

Took the day off just to teman her shopping, but then she said tired so wat to do? leave really got burned loh. Bought mom christmas present Bluetooth headset, from i tech supposed to be able to connect 2 phone, vibrates and makes sharp beeps when there is an incoming call, best yet its the clip on type with a headphone, not those thingymajiggy's where it has to be permanantly stuck to your ear. Look so retarded. On top of that i bought daddy his christmas present, a Montecristo Petit Edmundo. Hope he likes it, its pretty much like rolling a hundred dollar bill and lighting it up..

My ex latest craze

Every young boy's dream is to become somekind of hero, either a fire fighter, a pilot and most common an enforcement office be it a police officer or a soldier. HAha most definitely i am one of those chaps, i always wanted to be to be a soldier, actually to date i still want to. But then daddy says there is no take 2.

So wat to do, the next closest thing would be milsim games (milsim = military simulation). So at first it was about paintball, and today how the paintball markers can relly look like like rifles..hmm let me find some pics to show you what i mean.

Anyhoo after doing some serious calculations, just to play the game would cost me friggin alot of money. So oklo settle forsomething else, Airsoft. Waa you see the pictures you also would want to buy them. Oh well you might want to own them up until you find out how much they cost.

Rebound

AM i a rebound ? Are you a rebound ? how can one tell for sure ? Life kinda sucks at the moment. Work, Yam cha, sleep Work thats about the daily cycle since the holidays started. Working at OMG (Omnicom Media Group) Omg planning is seriously a boring backroom job. Pretty much explains why my office consists of 90% female.

Nothing interesting happened during my holidays lah, although i may have met my kryptonite though. Dont think, dont think, wont miss wont miss.. haha stoning in office, roaming like a directionless ghost. Omg when is lunch coming, im soooo bored. I miss her as much as i shouldnt, y must i she dun also hahaha..
